Apply to Join Your Community Council

Community Councils are made up of student leaders who help shape the on-campus experience by planning events, advocating for residents, and leading hall improvements. If you're ready to make a difference where you live, we invite you to apply for a leadership position!
Applications are available through the Get Involved portal. Search for your residence hall or apartment area's Community Council. Each council's application is listed directly under its organization name.
After locating your hall’s council, follow the instructions to complete the application. Most applications include short answers about your interest, leadership goals, and availability. No previous experience is required—just a passion for creating a better community!
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by your hall's Graduate Hall Director (GHD) or Community Manager (CM). Selected applicants will be contacted for interviews or next steps.
Positions vary by hall but may include: President, Vice President of Finance, Chair of Programming, Chair of Marketing, Eco-Rep, Wellness Chair, Service Chair, and Floor Representative.
