About the Residential Housing Association
by Texas A&M RHA | Updated May 26 2025
If you live on-campus at Texas A&M, you’re already a member of the Residential Housing Association (RHA)—no sign-up required!
RHA is a student-led organization that supports the voice, leadership, and experience of over 11,000 on-campus residents. We help shape the residential community through events, advocacy, and connection. Whether you're looking to meet people, lead change, or just enjoy your time in the halls, RHA is here for you.

How We’re Structured
- General Members: Every student living on campus is automatically part of RHA.
- Community Councils: Each residence hall or apartment has its own council that hosts events and shares feedback with RHA.
- Executive Board: A group of student leaders who oversee university-wide initiatives, programs, and funding.
- Advisor: A full-time Residence Life staff member who supports the board and provides professional insight.
What We Do
- Plan campus-wide events like AggieFest, wellness activities, and cultural celebrations
- Fund events and initiatives in your individual residence halls
- Train student leaders and support leadership development
- Advocate for housing improvements and student needs
- Connect students to state, regional, and national conferences
Why It Matters
RHA exists to make campus feel like home. From your first day on campus to your last final, we’re here to help you belong, grow, and thrive. We believe every student deserves a voice—and that when residents lead, communities flourish.
Want to get involved? Join your hall’s community council, attend an event, or stop by an RHA General Assembly. We’d love to meet you.
